**Verified extract — [Fact — A1]** Paul Shockley reported that Mesa County Sheriff quartermaster Ben Miller considered deploying a Draganflyer X6 unmanned 2-pound helicopter into a Whitewater uranium test mine during the Paige Birgfeld search. FAA required a special permit for the subterranean flight; the hole was searched faster with a hand-held camera. August 2009 COA: 400 feet, one-mile radius, Mesa County Landfill, daylight only.
