**Verified extract — [Fact — B1]** ABC reported Google X Project Wing's Queensland test in which Warwick farmer Neil Parfitt received dog food and chocolate bars and was told he was the first person in the world the project had delivered a parcel to. He described a metre-or-so wingspan, four-propeller, battery-operated craft like a big bat that hovered about 20 metres up, lowered the parcel by cable, retracted it and returned to base in a minute or two. Project Wing founder Nicholas Roy said the Warwick goal was to show autonomous deliveries and learn from neighbour Neil. Lead Dave Vos said the next phase was enabling faster delivery with due safety. Parfitt suggested snakebite antivenom and collapse-response uses. The Amazon/FAA section at the end is AFP-attributed and was not used.
