April published the European robotic-mower amendment that March approved, and Fortune dated Moxie’s first commercial shipments — a child-facing camera-and-mic companion rented by subscription. **Verified record — [Fact — B1]** Fortune (25 April 2021) reports that Embodied’s Moxie, a Time 2020 Best Invention, “began shipping units to families this year,” with “the first batch of Moxie robots shipped to buyers in March for nearly $1,500 (a monthly subscription of around $40 kicks in after the first year).” Wait list “more than 10,000.” The robot uses SocialX; “microphones and cameras in the tool’s head” collect data so it can process and react to a child’s behavior.
