## 01. Gomez protective order so-ordered; Amazon still in the case

**Verified record — [Fact — A1]** In *Gome[z] et al. v. Petpivot, Inc. et al.*, S.D.N.Y. **1:25-cv-05622**, Amazon.com, Inc. filed a consent letter motion for a discovery protective order on 8 May 2026 (Dkt. 30, V. Lodato). On 11 May 2026 Judge Lewis J. Liman so-ordered a **Protective Order** “regarding procedures to be followed that shall govern the handling of confidential material” and terminated the motion (Dkt. 31). The public docket minute does not restate the February holdings and does not adjudicate liability, design defect, or Amazon’s seller status. Amazon remains a named defendant.
