### BLUF

March’s only class+spine primary is a named-lab robotic-mower test: Stiftung Warentest finds child-limb dummies still meet the blade. No official consumer-robot recall and no named March injury were located.

## 01. Stiftung Warentest — seven of eight robotic mowers do not stop for a child-arm dummy

**Product class.** Robotic lawn mowers

**Verified record — [Fact — B1]** Stiftung Warentest tested eight robotic mowers for 400–700 m² lawns (about €450–€1,590; six boundary-wire, two camera). None received *gut* or *sehr gut*. dpa (21 March 2024): testers used a child-arm dummy; **seven of eight did not stop**. Because that dummy run is not a standards test, six models still scored *ausreichend* on safety; five reached an overall *befriedigend*. Only Einhell Freelexo CAM 500 avoided the arm dummy; it left its mapped area and scored *ausreichend* overall. Yard Force failed standing adult-foot detection. Stiga, the dearest unit, was rated *mangelhaft*: it drove at speed over a crawling-child-foot dummy — testers called that a breach of the European safety standard. Best overall (all 2,6 / *befriedigend*): Husqvarna Automower Aspire R4 (€1,090), Gardena Smart Sileno City (€1,100), Solo by Al-Ko Robolinho 520W (€875). **This is a lab test, not a March injury.** No brand-named March pediatric case was found.

**Threat landscape.** A battery rotary cutting means versus a child-shaped limb that is not a standing adult foot. Same class pattern as later May hospital copy (out of this window).
