Amazon winds down Astro for Business on 3 July and sets a 25 September brick with a full hardware refund, unused-subscription refund, and $300 credit. Home Astro is not this brick. On 29 July France’s Rappel Conso posts Honda Miimo: collision/lift-sensor pivot can fail to detect obstacles after repeated contact; risk “Blessures”; free dealer repair without time limit. Official French page states no injury count.

**Verified record — [Fact — A1 / B1]** Amazon told customers and employees on 3 July 2024 it would wind down Astro for Business, launched November 2023 at **$2,349.99**, to focus on the home robot. Spokesperson: “To accelerate our progress and ongoing research to make Astro the best in-home robot, we’ve made the decision to wind down support for Astro for Business.” Devices **“will no longer function” starting 25 September**; personal data deleted from the device; patrol/investigation videos remain in the Ring app until storage or Ring Protect ends. Amazon recommended recycling via its program (shipping covered). Astro for Business cannot be used as a home robot (spokesperson to The Verge). Remedy as reported: full refund of the device purchase to the original payment method; **$300** Amazon credit; refund of unused prepaid Astro Secure fees; charges stop immediately; invite to Astro Day 1 Editions for home. **Threat landscape.** A camera-bearing patrol robot whose personality is a server. Amazon’s refund is the opposite of a no-refund brick. Physical harm is not alleged. The September 25 date is a future fact as of this cutoff; the July event is the notice.

**Threat landscape.** Sense failure, then Move and Act continuing. The physical consequence named is injury. “Vulnerable people” language is the UK page (September). France says Blessures. This is the regulator half of May’s hospital pattern. Whether any named Austrian pediatric case was a Miimo unit is **not established**.
