The digest said a Chinese navy fleet passing Okinawa waters in June had used an unmanned aircraft photographed by Japan's Air Self-Defense Force. Kanwa said PLA UAV forces were growing in hardware and software and that UAV bases were modern, with complete hangars — for example Meizhou airport in Guangdong and Tongzhou airport in Beijing. It guessed Meizhou hosted a tactical type seen at the 2009 parade, called BZK-006. Tongzhou's hangars were large: 12 green-roofed bays, dedicated garages, two large satellite antennas, four-plus dish antennas, and an advanced green headquarters cluster. A CATIC video at Zhuhai 2006 and Moscow 2009 had shown a large reconnaissance UAV called BZK-005, apparently offered for export; picture comparison suggested about 12 large UAVs at Tongzhou were this type. Stated figures: 40-hour endurance, 1,250 kg MTOW, 150 kg payload, large EO pod (day/night TV and a "firebird" camera), 150–180 km/h, 8,000 m cruise, a large satcom antenna; no airborne radar seen on the video. **Kinematic object.** BZK-005 large recce UAV (claimed at Tongzhou); BZK-006 tactical type (claimed at Meizhou); unnamed PLAN UAV photographed near Okinawa in June. **Coverage frame.** military / industry ## Source integrity - Why this is treated as an original: first Chinese-language page fetched of this Kanwa digest, kept for national Chinese coverage of a named large UAV type. - Wire reprint status: Explicit 外媒 / Kanwa digest — first publisher no. - What was excluded: the 2010 Zhuhai show-floor original (separate year/identity). Kanwa's own English page was not fetched. ## LRRK relevance Watch / Passport. A Watch desk would have recorded a Chinese wire circulating hangar counts at Tongzhou/Meizhou and BZK-005 performance numbers from a Canadian journal. *LRRK — security assurance for systems that sense, move, and act.* L-Ne
