## Record

**Verified extract — [Fact — B1]** Maeil Business reported the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport saying it was launching intensive safety publicity for unmanned-flight-device (drone) beginners. With the Korea Drone Association it had released a free smartphone app named Ready to fly on app stores that day. Before flying, the app used the phone GPS to show current position, airspace information for the intended site, weather, sunrise/sunset times, and the civil or military permission authority, plus in-flight operator rules. MOLIT also said it would work with domestic drone sellers to enclose a leaflet covering precautions, no-fly airspace, and contacts for flight and aerial-photography permits.

**Kinematic object.** Hobby/beginner unmanned flight devices (drones) subject to Korean airspace lookup via the Ready to fly app.

**Coverage frame.** regulatory

## Source integrity

- Why this is treated as an original: MK staff report (Cho Sung-shin) of the same-day MOLIT/Korea Drone Association app launch.
- Wire reprint status: Not a Yonhap reprint.
- What was excluded: U.S. FAA registration announced the same calendar day (separate record).

## LRRK relevance

Passport / Control Fabric. Public airspace-lookup app as a pre-flight compliance tool.
