Metropolitan Police said there were no injuries and were investigating the owner and how it fell. The drone was about 50 cm in diameter, with a small camera and a roughly 10 cm PET-bottle-like object; the airframe had a radiation mark and there was information a smoke-flare-like device was attached. A senior government official said origin was unknown, investigation was underway, but there is no (danger); whether it was terrorism was also unknown.
