Boeing/Insitu put a number on contractor ISR this month: ScanEagle has surpassed 10,000 combat hours in less than two years — 8,900 Marine, 1,600 Navy. The access change is proof of persistence. Damadola’s aftershock is still a political, not a doctrinal, U.S. statement. MQ-9 is still not in combat.
