US: Modular Robotics recalls Dexter Industries rechargeable battery packs that “can short circuit, causing them to overheat, posing a burn hazard.” About **2,400** units; **four** reports of packs smoking and overheating; **no injuries.** 9.6 V 2000 Ah NiMH, sold individually and in Classroom Kits and GoPiGo / BrickPi bundles, March 2018–January 2020, about $38.
