December wrote two U.S. Control Fabrics into the public ledger on the same calendar: Public Law 116-92 (signed 20 December) created Sec. 848's prohibition on operating or procuring foreign-made UAS from covered countries, and on 26 December DOT/FAA released the Remote ID NPRM — identification-as-a-service on the LAANC USS model — for a comment period closing 2 March 2020.
