Ground-act: IED demand is pulling commercial robots into a wartime production rate *Event / publication dates: continuing Iraq/Afghanistan EOD use; no new FRP decision this month (MTRS FRP is May 2005).* **Verified record — [Fact — B1]** TALON has been in Iraq since the start of the war; PackBot likewise. The later Navy MTRS announcement (22 June 2005) states that “last year” — i.e., 2004 — the EOD Program Office met CENTCOM’s requirements for small robotic systems against a burgeoning IED threat.
