## 02. Pakistan parliament — immediate cessation of drone attacks

**Verified record — [Fact — B1]** VOA: Pakistan’s parliament approved a 14-point set of recommendations presented by Senator Raza Rabbani, chairman of the parliamentary committee on national security, as conditions for restoring relations and reopening NATO supply routes. Rabbani: “The U.S. footprint in Pakistan must be reviewed. This means, one, an immediate cessation of drone attacks inside the territory and borders of Pakistan. Two, the cessation of infiltration into Pakistani territory on any pretext including hot pursuit. Three, Pakistani territory, including its airspace, shall not be used for transportation of arms and ammunition to Afghanistan.” Recommendations also prohibit covert operations and private security contractors/intelligence operatives. Parliament demanded an unconditional U.S. apology for the November NATO strike that killed 24 Pakistani military personnel. ## 04. Knifefish unveiled — LCS minehunting UUV model at Sea-Air-Space

**Verified record — [Fact — A1]** Navy PEO LCS Unmanned Maritime Systems and General Dynamics unveiled a quarter-scale model of the Surface Mine Countermeasure UUV “Knifefish.” Heavyweight-class minehunting UUV for forward forces; part of the LCS Mine Countermeasures Mission Package. Intended to detect and identify mines in high-clutter water — suspended, proud, or buried — and gather environmental data. ## 05. Signature strikes left unnamed — the Brennan dodge

**Verified record — [Fact — A1]** Asked by Jon Harper (Asahi Shimbun) about signature strikes — “people who are engaging in suspicious activities” rather than named individuals — Brennan said he would not give approval rates and: “You make reference to signature strikes that are frequently reported in the press. I was speaking here specifically about targeted strikes against individuals who are involved.
