**Verified extract — [Fact — B1]** Kyiv Post reported that state concern Ukroboronprom tested Ukrainian-made unmanned aerial vehicles on Thursday 30 October with the Research Center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff at the Zhytomyr Koroliov Military Institute, on orders from an interdepartmental NSDC/Defence Ministry/General Staff conference. Results were to go to the presidential interdepartmental commission on military-technological cooperation and export control. Deputy General Director Oleksandr Stetsenko said Ukraine had the potential to build tactical and operative-tactical drones and that a strategic UAV might be developed later. A photo caption described a $35,000 volunteer-built drone crowd-funded for army operations against separatists in Donetsk Oblast.
