**Verified extract — [Fact — A1]** Maeil Business reported that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Seoul Regional Aviation Administration (chief Kim Su-gon) had installed, with Chinese manufacturer DJI, a program blocking drone flight within a 2 km radius of 15 domestic airports including Incheon and Gimpo. If a drone entered that radius, the airframe would not operate even if the pilot commanded it. DJI's Phantom series held about 80 percent of the Korean market the previous year. The administration said it would negotiate the same block with other makers. An official said no Korean drone-accident cases had yet been reported but the measure would prevent aircraft-drone collisions and aerial photography of airport security zones.
