**Verified extract — [Fact — A1]** Le Monde reported EDF's 29 October announcement that seven French nuclear plants, including one being deconstructed, had been overflew by drones in October without consequence for safety or operation of the installations, and that EDF had filed complaints. Overflight is forbidden within five kilometres and 1,000 metres altitude. Detections were mainly in the week of 13-20 October, generally at night or early morning. First detection: 5 October over Creys-Malville (Isère, deconstruction). Others: Gravelines (Nord), Cattenom (Moselle), Blayais (Gironde), Bugey (Ain), Chooz (Ardennes), Nogent-sur-Seine (Aube). Airspace over the plants is watched by the Armée de l'air under a protocol with EDF. Greenpeace denied involvement and said four distant sites (Bugey, Gravelines, Chooz, Nogent-sur-Seine) were overflew the same day, 19 October, and that CEA Saclay was also overflew. The page recalled a May 2012 Greenpeace motorised-paraglider landing at Bugey filmed by a drone.
