June is the legal-split month, not a new airframe month. August’s DJI memo and October’s MQ-9 are excluded.


## What June changes and what it does not

**Changes.** Hobbyist Part 48 is legally hollow after 19 May. Any June enforcement action against a pure modeler under the vacated rule would have been on notice of the D.C. Circuit. Commercial remote pilots remain numbered and tested.

**Does not change.** Army DJI use is still legal until 2 August. MQ-9 orbits continue; the Yemen shoot-down is 1 October. Mosul’s west-bank fight is in its last weeks; liberation language is July. NDAA restore is December. Sea Hunter COLREGS, if underway, still lacks a June 2017 fetched result table.

A June brief that announced those later Facts would have been a future-leak, not a month-end filing.
