Sony still sells aibo ERS-1000 as a rented personality: 23 January Japan press adds a 2019-only colourway and a mid-February “aibo Patrol” software path on the same AI Cloud Plan. No official consumer-robot recall was found.

**Threat landscape.** A wire-free robotic cutting means that iRobot says will live outdoors and can run at night. Physical harm is not alleged. The sense problem is beacon/map enclosure of a yard that may contain a child or a pet. The trust problem is a 2019 ship promise with no price and no support-duration disclosure.
