On 8 July ONR put the Umm Qasr REMUS story on the public record — first wartime AUV, Hydroid as the commercial shop, 80-pound two-man lift, 20-hour “mow the waters” — while the air stack settled into occupation ISR and the ground-robot mission began to tilt from building search toward explosives.

**Threat landscape.** Official PA now admits the AUV was in the fight. The trust boundary remains classification of contacts before a mammal or diver is sent.

## 02. Hydroid named as the commercial REMUS house

## 03. Occupation ISR — Pioneer one-sortie-a-day, Predators still hunting
