Amazon signs iRobot. The merger agreement is 4 August; the public announcement is 5 August: $61 a share, about $1.7 billion including net debt. HSR forms go in on 19 August. This is a maps-and-marketplace deal, not a vacuum-performance story. No August official safety recall was found. Husqvarna AWD remains the live fire file.

**Threat landscape.** A floor robot that maps and, on camera SKUs, sees the house is now a proposed Amazon input, next to Alexa and Ring. The August harm is structural: who would own the map. Physical harm is unchanged.
